Point to Point Transport Commissioner

The Point to Point Transport Commissioner is the regulator for taxis and hire vehicles under the NSW Governments point to point transport reforms. The Point to Point Transport (Taxis and Hire Vehicles) Act 2016 and the Point to Point Transport (Taxis and Hire Vehicles) Regulation 2017 have paved the way for a safer, more innovative and responsive point to point transport industry in NSW. As well as encouraging innovation and competition, the Act and Regulations provide a modern risk-based safety framework for a growing industry. People in NSW are now enjoying more choice, safer services and more competitive fares following reforms to the point to point transport industry.
