Poke has come a long way since its inception in Hawaii. The idea of poke being an actual meal and not a side dish was cultivated by Poke Bar with the opening of our first store in West Hollywood, CA. Our highly customizable menu allowed us to reach a wide range of people and started the poke trend. Focused on the concept of serving a fresh, healthy and fast meal combined with the rise in popularity of Japanese cuisine, particularly sushi; Poke Bar was born. Since 2015 we have expanded at a rapid rage, opening stores across the United States, Canada and New Zealand. The demand for a quick meal that could easily be customized to fit all types of food allergies and dietary restrictions was great and as of September 2018, Poke Bar has 74 stores with their doors open and 9 more in construction and set to open by 2019.
