Port of Norrkoping

The Port of Norrkoping, on the Baltic Sea coast, about 130 km south of Stockholm, is one of Swedens most important gateways for maritime traffic. Approximately half of all Swedes live in east and central Sweden, within a 200 km radius of Norrkoping, and this same hinterland contains a major part of the nations industrial and manufacturing sector. Today Norrkoping is much more than a centre for sea trade. It has evolved into a full-service port, one of the best equipped in the Baltic Sea region, providing a hub for logistics and intermodal cargo handling for exporting industries as well as importing actors.
