Port St. Maarten Group

The Port of St. Maarten is a Cruise, Cargo and Giga Yacht terminal operating in the North of the Caribbean. In 1962, the islands first deep water pier was opened and was named after the visionary leader of this plan, Dr. A. C. Wathey. Over the year his hard work and perseverance keep him pushing forward for larger harbor facilities. More than a half a century passed and now the Port of St. Maarten is a world class cruise, cargo and yachting terminal. Cruising The Port of St. Maarten Cruise terminal has two piers which can accommodate six cruise ship, one pier facilitating Genesis-class vessels. In a single day up to 20,000 passengers are welcomed. In 2011 the Port of St. Maarten reached a milestone with 1.6 million cruise passengers being received for the year.
