The Portage Learning and Literacy Centre (PLLC) is a supportive community hub in Portage la Prairie, serving the Central Plains region. Committed to fostering education, employment, and immigration goals, PLLC provides free services to minimize barriers and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. Partnering with the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology (MITT), PLLC offers adult education programs such as the Mature Student High School Diploma and Adult Literacy. Employment Assistance Services at PLLC assist individuals in finding and retaining jobs through personalized guidance and support. We offer skills development through the Portage Work Experience Program for youth as well as our Portage Accessible Careers and Employment initiative focuses on empowering individuals with disabilities.
