Post Bank of Slovenia

Postna banka Slovenije was established by the former Slovenian PTT organisations. The Bank started operations on 1 July 1992, immediately after Postna hranilnica Beograd had been shut down. It is typical of Postna banka Slovenije that it operates via the largest and the most extensive network of Post of Slovenias outlets. All postal outlets in Slovenia (550) or their counters providing cash transaction services are also the Postna banka Slovenijes counters. The postal outlets have a more favourable (longer) opening hours, including on Saturdays. In cooperation with Posta Slovenije the Bank has also organised its own independent units. In Ljubljana and Maribor, the Bank has two commercial centres, providing mainly retail services. In Murska Sobota, Celje, Kranj and Koper, it has its representative offices primarily offering services to corporate clients.
