As a childcare provider, we strive to work in partnership with the parents to promote each childs healthy, optimal development. We believe that parents play the most important role in their childs life. Childcare is not a replacement for parents, but an extension of them, and the parents have the right to expect the best care for their children when they cannot be with them. As childcare professionals, we seek to provide a warm, nurturing environment for all children in our care. We recognize that each child is a unique individual and, we encourage them to develop at their own pace. We believe that it is essential for children to be given the opportunity for social interaction that is both respectful and rewarding. Also, the opportunity must be given to practice these skills, which help resolve the conflicts they encounter daily.
