POWER SOUND STUDIO

POWER SOUND STUDIO is situated in Amsterdam. Recording every music genre, POWER SOUND STUDIO can be called a state of the art studio with the great assortment of vintage microphones, outboard gear and now the newest Solid State Logic Duality console. Paul Pouwer (1966) officially opened POWER SOUND STUDIO in 2003, after already working as sound engineer for more than 25 years. Besides working in his recording studio with artists/musicians like: Madeline Bell, Raul Midon, James Genus, Jimmy Haslip, David Liebman, David Sanchez and many famous Dutch artists/musicians, he also worked and still works as engineer of the Metropole Orchestra. This orchestra plays with great artists like: Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, John Scofield, Kenny Werner, The New York Voices, Gino Vannelli, Shirley Bassey, Oleta Adams, Steve Vai, Terry Bozzio, Elvis Costello, Al Jarreau, Chaka Khan, Lucie Silvas and many other artists.
