Pratibimb - The Dramatics and Filmmaking Society of DTU

I regard theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being. - Oscar Wilde With a similar vision, Pratibimb was founded nearly half a century ago back in 1960s as the Dramatics Society of Delhi College of Engineering. At a time when most technical institutions rarely focused on any such extra curricular activities, students of Delhi College of Engineering took a step in the field of theatre and founded Pratibimb. Since then, Pratibimb has produced some of the finest actors, directors, writers etc. Pratibimb aims at contributing in the field of theatre and bringing a positive change in society through the mediums of Stage plays, Street plays, Films, Music, Workshops and many more. We are typical DTU nerds with a difference that when people ask us what we engineered during our college days- a car, a robot or a website; we proudly answer, Plays and Films.
