Prepared International (PPI)

Prepared International (PPI) was founded by experienced international disaster experts during the response to the Nepal Earthquake. Prepared International observes that people, economies and the environment suffer from increased risks of disaster impact. Climate change results in more frequent and stronger severe weather events, growing population density and food crises. Displacement creates increased vulnerability and risk of conflict. With a growing dependency on (data) technology and supply chains, additional vulnerabilities are introduced in human societies. Inspired by the Sustainable Development goals, the Climate Change agreement and the Sendai framework for Disaster Risk Reduction, PPI contributes to a sustainable and safer world for all.
