Princess Durru Shehvar Childrens & General Hospital is established under the aegis of Princess Durr Shehvar Childrens Medical Aid Society, a not-for-profit organization formed primarily as a childrens hospital later on prenatal and post natal medicare for women also became important part of the hospital. The hospital is named after Princess Durru Shehvar, mother of the chairman of the Society, Prince Muffakham Jah. Hospital is located in Darul Shifa adjoining the historical Purani Haveli.
