PROGRESS Wrestling was founded in 2012, with our very first event on 25th March at The Garage in Islington. As the company evolved, PROGRESS quickly became the byword for excellence in independent professional wrestling, making a massive impact not just in the UK, but around the world. The company played a crucial role in truly launching the careers of many stars who quickly became household names on the very biggest stages. Former PROGRESS Champions include the likes of Walter (Gunther WWE), Toni Storm, Pete Dunne, Cara Noir, Jonathan Gresham, Big Damo, Will Ospreay, Matt Riddle, Jordynne Grace, Gisele Shaw, Eddie Dennis, CCK, Tyler Bate, Grizzled Young Veterans, Aussie Open and Trent Seven. PROGRESS was re-launched in December 2021 under the new ownership of Lee McAteer and Martyn Best.
