Project Jhabua

Enactus IIT Delhi is a student-run organization that aims to use the power of innovation and business principles to establish a sustainable model that creates social, economic, as well as environmental impact. At Enactus IIT Delhi, we run full-fledged social entrepreneurship ventures of our own on issues like waste management, menstrual hygiene, indoor air pollution, etc. We create sustainable business models to solve these social issues and create an impact. Project Jhabua is an initiative by Enactus IIT Delhi with a view of sustainable development of the Bhil community in Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh. In project Jhabua, we set up biogas plants to provide the locals with clean fuel(Biogas) and rich organic manure( bio-slurry). We are also selling Vermicompost ( made from bio-slurry) and Gardening kits in order to provide the locals a secondary source of income.
