Project Mercy, Inc., a not-for-profit organization, ministrys focus is to renew the heart of a nation by plucking out poverty. The organization has evolved its model in rural Ethiopia to address the root causes of poverty through integrated and holistic community development built on a foundation of active participation and contribution by the communities served. Based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Project Mercy is a registered 501(c)(3) organization under the leadership of a 9-person board. Within the past two-and-a-half decades, Project Mercys development efforts - coupled with the help of Project Mercy volunteers, donors, and staff has directed the construction of schools, a state-of-the-art hospital, skills training classes, agricultural development programs, clean water delivery, all-season roads and countless other initiatives.
