However, due to a lack of Innovation & Creativity in its methods, the handicraft industry has lost its essence and the artisans of the country are at the mercy of a few people. In order to preserve Indias rich cultural heritage and centuries of evolutionary tradition, Project Virasat was started, which is an umbrella body to revive the languishing craft forms of the country
