Protoporia is one of the largest bookshops in Greece. Founded in 1974 in Athens, Greece, by Vangelis Trikeriotis, Protoporias main aim always has been to provide avid readers with the cheapest possible prices for books. Back in the day, Protoporia was found at the cult small basement on Koletti street at Exarheia. Its success swiftly moved Protoporia to Gravias street, number 7, and a few years later in 1988 to the 1000m2 Gravias 3-5 flagship store. Since then, Protoporia has had faithful customers of all age groups, but with one thing in common: A big love for books and reading. All this, alongside with excellent customer service, and really friendly and well-read stuff has led to Proptoporias success.
