Proyecto Horizonte

As a non-profit and non-government organization located in Cochabamba, Bolivia, the aim is to create a self-sustainable community for the over 3,000 families residing in Ushpa-Ushpa. It is passionate about giving the people and especially the children a chance to further their horizons and brighten their future. The project was founded in 2004 as a private initiative with the objective of fighting poverty and improving human development. Since its establishment, Proyecto Horizonte has grown to include a day-care centre, a primary, secondary and adult school, health center, community training programs including women groups and psychological support, sport and art activities, home improvement programs and microenterprise initiatives including an artisans group.
