Psitek (Pty) Ltd develops solutions using cellular and wireless technologies to provide access to voice and data services to people in under-serviced areas of the world. In so doing it creates new business opportunities in the regions in which it operates, these being Africa, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Latin and South America. Since its inception in 1990, Psitek has prided itself in its ability to solve problems in an appropriate and meaningful way. Today, Psiteks core development centre is based in Tyger Valley, Cape Town, while its manufacturing facility, ELPROM Electronic Manufacturers (Pty) Ltd, is situated in Stellenbosch. Its main distribution channel for Southern Africa, Psitek South Africa (Pty) Ltd, is based in Midrand, Gauteng.
