PT ARBE CHEMINDO, formerly PT Risjad Brasali, was founded in 1991. Backed by established entrepreneurs Mr. Ibrahim Risjad and Mr. Budi Brasali, the group has contributed to the chemical industry by manufacturing quality product in a competitive market. Located 30 kilometers east of Jakarta, on the Cikarang Industrial Estate in Bekasi, the factory of PT Arbe Chemindo covers an area of 1.5 hectares and employees a work force of 120 skilled employees. PT Arbe Chemindo is Indonesias sole manufacturer of high quality CarboxyMethyl Cellulose. CMC, which is sold under the registered brand names ARBECEL. The process technology for CMC originated from, Hoechst, Germany. A Technical assistance Agreement between PT Arbe Chemindo and Hoechst made the transfer of this valuable knowledge possible.
