PT. Kaltim Pasifik Amoniak (KPA), located in Bontang, East Kalimantan was established on 28 July 1997 with full foreign investment by Mitsui Co.Ltd and Toyota Tsusho (formerly Tomen Corporation), Japan. KPA is an ammonia manufacturer and distributor with name plate capacity 2,000 MT (Metric Ton) per day which is equal to 660,000 MT per year. As petrochemical industry, KPA always puts forward the aspect of quality, safety, health, environment care and compliance with laws as the first and main priority in its business operation. Considering that almost all ammonia product are exported to overseas and its daily business operation always interact globally, it is nothing but cogent for KPA to have a vision to be a World Class Ammonia Manufacturing Company.
