Antonius Bangun started Kesaint Blanc as a small name card printing business in 1979 while he was still working for one of the major banks in Jakarta. As his printing business grew, his passion for books and literature out grew his passion for printing and as a result he created a Publishing division in Kesaint Blanc. To better equip himself, he pursued a Bachelor of Publishing from the University of Indonesia in 1988. Shortly after he graduated, Antonius received a scholarship from the British Government to continue his study at Lough-borough University, one of the largest universities in the UK, where he completed his Master of Arts majoring in Publishing.
