PT. Sumber Mitra Jaya

The Mitra Jaya Group originated in 1981 with the founding of PT. Sumber Mitra Jaya, popularly known as SMJ. When Dato Drs. K. Gowindasamy started this company, the fledgling SMJ was faced with many challenges to establish itself in the market place due to limited resources. In fact, its first contract a landfill project in Jakarta was completed successfully using borrowed trucks. However, the success of that first project quickly led to a series of larger and more successful contracts. SMJ went on to complete various projects in Jakarta and, subsequently, in West Java, Central Java, and East Java. After that, it started spreading its wings to other parts of Indonesia.
