Mike Pulman launched the first Pulman site in 1998 in Durham with 17 employees, the business moved into its prime Durham location in 2000 where the head office now employs over 240 members of staff. The family-run business has since grown to become a Top Ten Volkswagen & SEAT retailer, Pulman opened a second Volkswagen site in Sunderland in 2008, became a SKODA authorised repairer at Durham in 2009 and opened a SEAT dealership in Sunderland 2010.
