Qanbar Dywidag Precast Concrete Company Limited (QDC) was formed in 1981 as a partnership between one of the leading businessmen in the eastern province, Sheikh Abdul Razzak Mohammad Qanbar Al-Ansari, and one of the largest German General Contractor and Precast concrete manufactures, Dyckerhoff & Widmann AG (DYWIDAG). In January 1st 2002, Sheikh Abdul Razzak Mohammad Qanbar Al-Ansari bought the whole share of DYWIDAG and became the sole owner of QDC. QDC has built a strong name for quality and competitiveness, completing many prestigious projects for Royal Commission of Jubail, Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco), SCECO, SABIC, the New King Fahad International Airport, Ministries, and private sector.
