1963 / . 1990 . . . . . Qatar Chamber was established in 1963 with the objective to support the burgeoning/trade business climate in the country at that time. In 1990, Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry was granted its own autonomy with the legal authority to represent all private sector activities in the State of Qatar. All members of the private sector must therefore be registered with Qatar Chamber in order to perform commercial and industrial activities in the country.
