Founded in 1990 in the municipality of Teodoro Sampaio in Sao Paulo, Quata manufactures and sells dairy-based products to wholesaler, retail, industrial and food service businesses outside the home a market known as food service. The companys headquarters are currently located in the West Zone of Sao Paulo, where the corporate office and distribution center are located. The company already has 7 manufacturing units installed in 4 states of the country: 2 in Sao Paulo, in the municipalities of Teodoro Sampaio and Bom Jesus dos Perdoes; 1 in Parana, in Mercedes; 1 in Rio de Janeiro, in Itaperuna; and 3 in Minas Gerais, in the municipalities of Vazante, Douradoquara and Campo Belo.
