Quay Street Productions was founded by prolific multi-winning producer Nicola Shindler OBE. Sitting within ITV Studios, the label is based in central Manchester and focusses on producing premium drama for the UK and international market. With over 25 years experience in television and renowned for her relationships with writers, Nicola Shindler has produced some of the UKs most beloved and memorable dramas, including Years and Years, Happy Valley, Queer As Folk, Last Tango in Halifax, The Stranger and forthcoming series include Finding Alice, No Return, Ridley Road, Traces and Its A Sin. In January 2021, Nicola founded and launched independent production company Quay Street Productions to create modern, innovative, and entertaining programming.
