The Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) provides world-class emergency pre-hospital care to the Queensland community. As part of Queensland Health, we are an integral link in the primary health care sector, looking after our fellow Queenslanders in their times of need. Our 15 Local Ambulance Service Networks, comprising 298 response locations and seven Operations Centres across the state, are staffed highly trained and dedicated Paramedics, Emergency Medical Dispatchers and Patient Transport Officers.
