Rahavard

Rahavard Quarterly Rahavard (in Persian: ), is a Los Angeles-based Persian language quarterly publication of roughly 300 pages. It was established in 1982 by Hassan Shahbaz. The quarterly publishes scholarly articles in the field of Persian (Iranian) studies, politics, culture, society and beyond. It takes contributions from its readers and followers who largely constitute the elite of the Iranian diaspora world-wide. Its readers are well educated, well informed citizens, business owners, scholars, intellectuals, professors, politicians and philanthropists. Rahavrad is entire supported by its very few advertisers. Since the death of Hassan Shahbaz in May of 2006, Rahavard has been published by his widow Sholeh Shams shahbaz. Today, she has grown the publication both in volume, subscription and influence.
