Rajasthan Mahila Nidhi is the first state level cooperative organization in the country as per the guidelines of the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, which is providing easy loans to the members of women self-help groups promoted by Rajasthan Rural Livelihood Development Council (Rajivika) at their doorstep for their day-to-day needs and income-earning activities. This is an important initiative towards women empowerment. This institution was established on 10 August 2022. The loan application process is based on modern mobile technology in which women of Self Help Groups have the facility to apply online at their own door for getting the loan sanctioned. The loan amount up to Rs. 40,000 is transferred to the savings accounts of the Self Help Group within 48 hours by submitting the loan application (tablet) of the field staff of the Self Help Group of Rajasthan Mahila Nidhi directly to the Head Office through computer.
