Ramseys Diamond Jewelers

Ramseys Diamond Jewelers was founded in 1958 by Bob Ramsey as B & J Manufacturing Jewelers, a manufacturer of custom jewelry for other jewelers. In 1972, Ramseys Jewelers opened their first retail store on West Esplanade in Metairie. In 1980, Robert Ramsey and his sister Lori Ramsey took over the operations of Ramseys and in 1993 moved the West Esplanade store to a much bigger location on Veterans Blvd. In 1998, they made the decision to focus only on diamonds and diamond jewelry. In 2016, a second location was opened in Harvey, on the Westbank of the Greater New Orleans Metro Area. In 2018, Ramseys combined both locations to a bigger, better store at 701 Veterans Blvd in Metairie!
