Rappahannock Regional Criminal Justice Academy

The Rappahannock Regional Criminal Justice Academy is responsible for the training needs of law enforcement agencies across Central Virginia and is one of the eleven regional academies in Virginia. Founded in 1978, the academy is responsible for the training over 2,200 sworn personnel representing 19 Police Departments, 16 Sheriffs Offices, 4 Regional Jails, and 3 Independent Emergency Communication Centers.
