The Raskelf Groups journey began in 2003 when founders, Alan and Elizabeth Colleran, recognised the untapped potential of introducing memory foam into the leisure industry. Driven by the need to innovate, they developed the patented Duvalay Memory Foam Sleeping Bag in 2009, capturing the attention of the nation through a successful appearance on the BBCs Dragons Den in 2011. This sparked a period of rapid growth, with the business winning major contracts and building relationships with some of the most renowned UK retailers. Raskelf Group then went on to win the top prize from the UKs National Bed Federation (NBF) in 2017-2018 being named Bed Manufacturer of the Year. The accolades continued in 2018-2019, with special NBF awards recognition and winning the coveted Manufacturing Innovation Award in 2019.
