About Rathbone Rathbone Precision Metals, a subsidiary of Calvi SpA, was founded in 1905 in Palmer, Massachusetts as a small pinion wire-making manufacturer that served the clock industry in central New England. In 1912 Rathbone moved to its current location in Palmer, MA at 1241 Park Street where we grew to expand around the original brick structure of 1912 that continues to stand today.
