But our journey is far from over. We want to give top division football its place in this sport-mad city, as this is what Leipzig and the region deserve. We also wish to continue to celebrate fantastic football events together with our fans. Along with the success of our first team, we also place huge focus on the development of youth. With a total of 16 youth teams (three of which are girls teams), weve built a fully complete youth structure with teams in every age group from U8s to U19s. All of them have the opportunity to use the wonderful facilities at our training centre. In addition, weve had a womens team since the 2016/17 season.
