THE MISSION The REALTORS Association of Metropolitan Pittsburghs mission is to protect private property rights, enhance the professional and ethical conduct of our members, and to be the recognized voice of real estate. A PROUD HISTORY Since 1911, the REALTORS Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh has served real estate professionals and the community as western Pennsylvanias most effective voice for private property and industry professionalism. RAMP, which was originally known as the Pittsburgh Real Estate Board, began with 30 members and has since grown to include approximately 2,600 residential and commercial REALTORS. The organization was a pioneer from the beginning. It was founded just three years after the National Association of REALTORS and preceded the institution of real estate licensing in Pennsylvania by more than a decade.
