Receivers and Liquidators, Inc. (R & L for short) was incorporated in April 03, 2000, opening its main office in the heart of the bustling business district of Ortigas Center, Pasig City. For the first four (4) years of its corporate life, R & L was heavily involved in the liquidation and/or rehabilitation of several insolvent/bankrupt entities on behalf of the Regional Trial Courts, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, the Phil. Deposit Insurance Corp. and the Securities and Exchange Commission. As part of its functions as either an appointed receiver or liquidator, R & L was engaged in asset location, recovery, and disposition as well as human resource management.
