Reducing the Risk of Domestic Abuse

Reducing the Risk was founded in 2004 as a domestic abuse charity based in Oxfordshire. We work with partner organisations including the police, childrens services, health workers and local councils to reduce the risk of adults and children who are affected by domestic abuse and violence. We provide Oxfordshires Independent Domestic Violence Advice (IDVA) service for victims at high risk and our work now reaches across the Thames Valley and beyond. We have won national and regional awards for our Domestic Abuse Champions (DA Champions) training and our community has now expanded to over 5000 champions. Our Champions vary from frontline staff to active individuals who work together in community to provide support and advice to victims, ensuring they dont have to go from one agency to another in order to get the help they need.
