Regina Transition House is a recognized leader in responsive, effective human service. We create space for women and children where they can change their lives. To meet this we do followings: Safe Temporary Housing Regina Transition House provides a safe haven for women and children but not at the cost of losing a homelike atmosphere. Counselling / Support / Referral While at Transition House, staff provide information, support, options and alternatives and a holistic response to the needs of women and children. Childrens Programming The shelters Childrens Counsellors focuses on the needs of children both in shelter and in our Outreach program. Program priorities are risk assessment, supportive counselling and parenting assistance. Significant program time is committed to work with mothers on issues of child development, realistic expectations and constructive discipline.
