The company was started by a team of 3 IIT Madras graduates. When they stepped-in the world beyond college to start their professional life in Bangalore, they were hit by the problems of settling down in the city, finding an apartment, etc. Very soon, all 3 quit their jobs and started the company under the banner of 2000sqft in December 2008 with a vision of making the relocation process very smooth and easy. The idea was to not just to turn around the unorganized, time consuming and costly business of real estate services in India into an organized and affordable one but also provide easily accessible information on the issues related to relocation; starting from movers & packers to getting amenities in your apartment.
