Repaveiro was born as Joao, Rolando e Mateus Lda in 1969, dedicating its activity to the repairing of ships: In 1986 there was a new social denomination, changing its name to Repaveiro - Reparacoes Navais e Industriais de Aveiro La, switching its own facilities from Gafanha da Nazare to Aveiro, nearby Zona do Porto Comercial - Terminal Sul.
