Resonance promotes and supports the well-being and self-sufficiency of women and their families challenged by the criminal justice system. Our goal is to help female offenders succeed. Eleanor Hill founded Resonance in 1977 as a volunteer-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a support system for women facing lifes challenges. Having been suddenly widowed when her husband was overseas, Eleanor knew from personal experience the desperate need women have for a support system when facing the challenges of life.
