Response Innovation Lab

Response Innovation Lab (RIL) works in crisis and fragile contexts to strengthen humanitarian innovation ecosystems so that the demand for solutions meets the supply of available innovative products, services and approaches. RIL envisions a world where humanitarian responses are transformed through faster adoption of solutions that meet the specific needs of the affected communities and are scaled through a multitude of actors. To that end, RIL Response Labs and Affiliate Facilities invest in building up local teams comprised of extraordinary individuals who build bridges between the traditional humanitarian system and a broad range of actors such as innovation hubs, social enterprises, startups, innovative civil society organizations, social impact investment funds, government agencies and academic institutions.
