RiadArchitecture provides architecture, master planning & interior design services internationally through our offices in Cairo & New York. Our award-winning work can be found in major metropolitan & rural areas around Egypt & the Middle East. We have worked on over 230 projects 104 of which that have been built with a portfolio including commercial office, banks, residential, hospitality & mixed-use projects. RiadArchitecture was founded in 1934 under the name & supervision of the late architect & former head of the Cairo Municipality, Mahmoud Riad (1905-1979), who was recognized as one of the pioneers of modern Egyptian Architecture by King Farouk, President Gamal Abd el Nasser, & President Anwar el Sadat. He was also among the first Egyptians to hold a degree in town & city planning from the University of Liverpool in 1931.
