Rigsmart Systems Inc. specializes in providing wireless safety control systems for drilling, snubbing and service rigs. We are very effective at eliminating contacts with the racking board, crown, floor and other pipe handling equipment. With over 400 systems installed, the technology is a proven occupational health and safety engineered control. A Rigsmart system is effective at reducing non-productive time due to collisions with travelling equipment. Combinations of wireless components are placed on the rig to determine equipment position. This includes the racking board, stabbing board, automated roughnecks and additional pipe handling equipment. An interlock with the rig brakes is then established. When alarms are triggered the travelling blocks are either slowed or stopped. Solutions are designed on a rig specific basis.
