Ripple Healthcare was born on the simple and strong belief that all hip fractures among the elderly due to falls can be prevented. Hip fractures are one of the greatest medical crises around the globe. Yet, while many fall management solutions have existed for decades, theyve always created a tradeoff between mobility and safety, while also being too discomforting and obtrusive to everyday life and often going unworn. We at Ripple healthcare are passionate and committed to designing and innovating products for improving the quality of life for the elderly. Our first novel product protects the elderly from serious hip-impacting falls before ground contact, giving it the ability to intervene by pre-deploying an airbag to reduce fall impact forces.
