River Rock Operating, LLC operates over 2,500 oil and gas wells, and over 2,300 miles of gas gathering assets in the Cherokee Basin as the result of a 2016 acquisition by River Rock Energy Company. At the time of the acquisition, many of the production and mid-stream personnel of the former operator, including experienced field technicians and field level management, were hired by River Rock Operating to ensure a smooth transition of both the production and mid-stream operations. The combination of experienced personnel from Cardinal River Energy and from the former operator provides a seasoned operations team that manages the companys day-to-day operations.
