River Tuscaloosa, AL

River will be a Southern, chef driven restaurant located on the South side of the Black Warrior River. Drew Henson, a local restaurateur that owned the Cypress Inn for 30 years, is opening the restaurant in mid May. Concentrics of Atlanta has worked with Drew to put every ounce of thought imaginable to make this restaurant one of a kind. From the interior floor to ceiling textiles to the lounge furniture on the outdoor patio, River is sure to be a place that guests will look forward to enjoying a craft cocktail outside in the afternoon or a southern inspired dinner later at night. In hopes of guests feeling comfortable in whatever attire brings them off of the walking track, the chef will offer entrees and flatbreads of all sorts. The owners and management know that the ambiance will not be the only aspect that will keep guests coming back.
