River Wilderness Golf & Country Club

River Wilderness Golf and Country Club is a private, member-owned Club located on Floridas Suncoast in the Sarasota Manatee County area. The Club borders the North shore of the historic Manatee River just off Interstate 75. The golf course, designed by Ted McAnlis, is situated on 150 acres of pristine landscape and is a part of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System which blends the propertys natural beauty with an abundance of wildlife. Measuring almost 7,100 yards from the longest of seven tee boxes, the player has the ability to set their own game. River Wilderness also offers one of the best practice amenities in the area. Along with a driving range we offer a 19th hole to practice chipping & putting plus a sand bunker area so Members can work on all aspects of their game!
