Robert Konieczny KWK PROMES is an international architecture office based in Katowice. It was founded in 1999 by Robert Konieczny, the laureate of Minister of Culture and National Heritage Lifetime Achievement Award, member of French Academy of Architecture. Robert Konieczny KWK Promes has won numerous competitions and prizes. The National Museum - Dialogue Centre Przelomy in Szczecin was announced to be The Best Public Space in Europe in the competition European Prize for Urban Public Space organized by CCCB. The same project was found World Building of the Year 2016 in the World Architecture Festival. Koniecznys Ark was awarded Wallpaper Design Awards 2017 for Best New Private House. The office realizations were twelve times nominee of the European Award of Mies van der Rohe Foundation.
